The development of international cooperation of the Consortium is carried out together with the European Inter-University Center for Human Rights and Democratization (EIUC) - the Venice Consortium (Italy), which unites 41 universities in Europe. The Venice Consortium provided invaluable assistance in shaping the content of the curriculum and determining the methodology for teaching of the academic disciplines. The organization supports the selection of candidates among well-known foreign experts in the field of international human rights law, who give lectures to undergraduates of Russian universities of the Consortium as visiting professors and provides quotas for the participation of undergraduates from Russian universities-partners in summer schools on Human Rights, organized annually by the Venice Consortium. In the framework of academic mobility, undergraduate students are given the opportunity to study at the Venice Summer School on Human Rights, organized annually by the Venice Consortium.
Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation
The Master program is widely supported by the institution of the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, who on a permanent basis cooperates with the Consortium under the Agreement. The document provides for the exchange of information materials, joint Russian and international scientific, practical and educational activities, the organization of internships for students of the program in the Office of the Commissioner. Key aspects of interaction between the Commissioner and the Consortium, including the organization and conduction of research and practice-oriented activities for students of the master's program, are reflected in the annual report of the Commissioner for 2016, published on May 17, 2017. The offices of the regional Commissioners for Human Rights also provide support for the Master's Program in Human Rights Consortium.
International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies
The Federation is a Global Humanitarian Organization that coordinates and directs international assistance to victims of natural and man-made disasters in non-conflict situations. The Federation provides support to the 190 National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies that are members of the International Movement. Its help operations, in conjunction with development issues are oriented at the disaster preparedness programs, health care and treatment, and the promotion of humanitarian values. In particular, it supports programs to reduce the risks and control the spread of diseases such as HIV, tuberculosis, bird flu and malaria. The organization also works to combat discrimination and violence, and organizes assistance for migrants.
International Committee of the Red Cross
The ICRC is an independent and neutral organization that provides humanitarian protection and assistance to victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence. It takes action in emergency situations and at the same time promotes respect for international humanitarian law and contributes to its implementation in national legislation.
Russian Red Cross
The International Committee of the Red Cross is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose goals and objectives are purely humanitarian in nature and are intended to protect the lives and dignity of people affected by armed conflict and violence, and to provide them with assistance in the issues of law and universal humanitarian principles, the ICRC makes every effort to prevent human suffering.
The Sakharov Center is a multifunctional public and educational platform where current cultural and social problems, remaining outside the informational mainstream are discussed in various formats. The Center assists in organizing events of the Consortium, as well as regularly conducts free tours for students of the program.
